Technical Officer, Fare System
Job Purpose
To be responsible for the Preventive Maintenance (PM) / Corrective Maintenance (CM) of the Fare System / Access Management System equipment in SMRT stations and to ensure KPI is fulfilled.
Responsibilities
- Plan and perform PM on Fare System equipment
- Attend to CM on Fare System equipment
- Ensure compliance with work procedures and risk assessment when carrying out any project work
- Assist Assistant Engineer in any other maintenance work related to the Fare System equipment or the home office operations
- Carry out necessary data entries as required in the Maintenance Management System
- Practice safe and proper housekeeping
- Actively participate in Kaizen Project to enhance and streamline maintenance processes and equipment performance
- Support project initiative, testing and commissioning for new stations
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/ NITEC, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent
- Experience working in electronic servicing industries
Skills
- Physically fit and prepared to work night shifts when required
- Exposure to site-work
- Possess technical knowledge and troubleshooting skill
- Proficient with safety practices
- Understand basic electrical safety procedure
- Able to use Microsoft Words and Excel for data entry and report compilation
