Technical Officer Signal and Communication BPLRT
Job Purpose
The Technical Officer, Signal and Communication, is responsible to perform Preventive and Corrective Maintenance on the corresponding systems.
He / She is also to perform fault attendance, fault diagnosis tests, troubleshooting, repairs and modifications to the components and equipment.
Responsibilities
1. Work in rotating or fixed shifts (i.a.w. MOM guidelines), as assigned by supervisors.
2. Work at heights to perform maintenance activities.
3. Perform preventive maintenance on components and equipment, as assigned by supervisors.
4. Perform corrective maintenance on components and equipment, as assigned by supervisors.
5. Perform modifications on components and equipment, as assigned by supervisor.
6. Operate ground support equipment, testers and tools, as assigned by supervisors.
7. Drive company vehicle for the purpose of work, as assigned by supervisors. (Applicable for those with Singapore Driving License)
8. Perform PM/PIC role.
9. Observe and report any safety concerns at the workplace.
10. Comply with various policies and regulations, eg SOP requirements, statutory regulations, regulator requirements, etc.
11. Undertake any other tasks or functions that are incidental or ancillary to the performance of the works, as assigned by supervisor. Examples include
a. Responding to emergency operations responses,
b. Assist in the execution of projects; including testing & commissioning, attendance to contractors, etc
c. Supervise contractors' work.
d. Preparation of reports.
e. Provide logistics support.
f. Housekeeping.
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Nitec in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Mechanical Engineering.
- Preferably with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience
Skills
Able to use general tools and equipment.
Able to read and write in English proficiently.
Possess basic MS Office skills
Able to communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
Able to work independently
