Technical Officer

Job Purpose
- To be responsible for the Software Acceptance Test and Software Field Trial for Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) - Rail System as well as investigate related issues of AFC device software in revenue system.
- To support internal & external projects activities secured by the Business Unit.
Responsibilities
- Perform Software Acceptance Test and Software Field Trial for Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) in rail System.
- To investigate and report any AFC software related issues in revenue system during the software field trial period.
- Assist Assistant Engineer to generate SeP and TABA reports to ensure there is no major issue encounter during the software field trial period.
- Practice safe and proper housekeeping.
- Actively participate in Kaizen Project to enhance and streamline maintenance processes and equipment performance
- Support project initiative, testing and commissioning for new devices and stations
- Support internal & external projects activities assigned by Project Managers
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/ NITEC, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
- Past working experience in electronic servicing industries.
Skills
- Physically fit and prepared to work night shifts when required.
- Exposure to site-work
- The candidate should possess technical knowledge and troubleshooting skill
- Proficient with safety practices
- Understand basic electrical safety procedure
- Able to use Microsoft Words and Excel for data entry and report compilation
