Technical Officer

Job Purpose

To operate and maintain all electrical and power-related system equipment installed in SMRT in compliance with our Quality objective as stated in our QP/WIs/Work Records.

Responsibilities

1. Plan and perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) on all electrical and power-related system equipment.
2. Attend to the Corrective Maintenance (CM) on all electrical and power-related system equipment.
3. Ensure compliance with work procedures when carrying out any maintenance work.
4. Carry out necessary data entries as required in the Maintenance Management System.
5. Practice safe and proper housekeeping.
6. Assist Assistant Engineer (AE) in any other maintenance work related to all electrical and power-related system equipment.
7. Carry out any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisor.
8. Actively participate in Kaizen Project to enhance and streamline maintenance processes and equipment performance.
9. Support project initiative, testing and commissioning for new projects.

Qualifications & Work Experience

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/ NITEC, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
• Past working experience in electronic servicing industries or with relevant experience in maintenance and troubleshooting power and electrical equipment.
