Manager, Agency


Job Purpose

Contract management of Aftersales/Maintenance Services for Product Agency and Special Projects contracts to ensure compliance and fulfil customers’ expectation.

To oversee all vehicles and equipment’s repair, maintenance and installation activities are carried out in accordance with the required quality standard and in the most costs efficient manner.

To develop a team of multi-skilled workforce and prepare for future automotive technologies.

To oversee the daily smooth operations of Agency Department




•    Oversee Aftersales/Maintenance Services for Product Agency and Special Projects contracts to ensure compliance to contractual requirements and fulfil customers’ expectation.
•    Conduct pre-project meetings / site meetings with customers to understand project requirements and expectations. 
•    Coordinate with customer(s) and in-house contractor(s) to ensure all vehicles / components repair and maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with the required quality standard and ensure maximum customer satisfaction. 
•    Prepare quotations, coordinate with customer to submit all necessary documents and ensure timely invoicing. 
•    Liaise with internal department and supplier(s) to ensure tools / equipment and parts are available for team to support operations. 
•    Ensure that the department operates in the most costs efficient manner. 
•    Identify training needs, pre-training requisites and develop a team of multi-skilled workforce through cross training and skills upgrade.
•    Perform checks on audits on team for safety, productivity, and performance. 
•    Prepare project performance reports and ensure Key Performance Indicators of the workshop are met, when required. 
•    Analysis existing projects, trends and recommend predictive / alternative / best practice solution(s), when necessary. 
•    Champaign workplace safety and KAIZEN initiatives and develop efficient workflow/ process to improve productivity.
•    Participate management update meetings to Division and Department Head on the contracts’ achievement, revenue attained and any business opportunities identified.
•    Prepare annual budget and control workshop expenditure. 
•    Review, evaluate, verify and/or approve Service Entries, Purchase Requisition, and other authorizing documents. 
•    Guide and Review team’s performance while aligning to organisation’s business objectives and targets. 
•    Prepare SOP, WI, RA and Method of Statement, where necessary.

Qualifications & Work Experience


  • Candidate must possess at least a Tertiary education from a recognized institution or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years working experience in the related industry or similar functions.
  • Minimum Class 3 driving license.


Technical skills include:

  • Knowledge on vehicles repair, maintenance and electrical wiring works, preferred.
  • Familiar with contracts management requirements.
  • Strong in contractor management.
  • Automotive / Maintenance/ Services/ Engineering background
